On May 18 as part of online-seminar “Geometry, topology and their applications” Tian Xu (Tianjin University, Tianjin, China) will give a talk “Nonlinear Dirac equations on compact spin manifolds”

Mathematical center in Akademgorodok together with the Chair of Geometry and Topology invites you to take part in the seminar on May 18th at 2pm Novosibirsk time (UTC+7). The Head of the seminar – I. A. Taimanov.

During the seminar an invited guest Tian Xu (Tianjin University, Tianjin, China) will present his talk “Nonlinear Dirac equations on compact spin manifolds”.

Motivated by recent progress on a spinorial analogue of the Yamabe problem in the geometric literature, we shall consider analytic aspects of nonlinear Dirac equations on compact spin manifolds. Via variational theory and blowup analysis, our main target is to study the existence issue of a conformally invariant spinor field equation, which has a strong relationship with Spinorial Weierstraß representation.

To take part, please, on May 18 after 1:45 pm Novosibirsk time (UTC+7) connect to the Zoom conference via this link: or manually in the Zoom app: Conference ID: 952 7755 6779 (Password: 019806)
