During the seminar, Professor
Wu Chaozhong (Sun Yat-Sen University) will present his talk
"Virasoro constraints for Drinfeld-Sokolov hierarchies and equations of Painlev茅 type".
By imposing Virasoro constraints to Drinfeld-Sokolov hierarchies, we obtain their solutions of Witten-Kontsevich and of Brezin-Gross-Witten types, and those characterized by certain ordinary differential equations of Painlev茅 type. We also show the existence of affine Weyl group actions on solutions of such Painlev茅-type equations, which generalizes the theory of Noumi and Yamada on affine Weyl group symmetries of the Painlev茅-type equations. This work is joint with Si-Qi Liu and Youjin Zhang.
