Rauzy gasket is a fractal set on a plane that naturally parameterizes several types of dynamic systems of completely different nature. Among them are systems of symbolic dynamics, interleaving of segments, and chaotic regimes in Novikov's problem of conductivity in single crystals under the action of a magnetic field. I will talk about these systems and how they are related to each other. All the necessary definitions will be given during the course of the lecture.
