Euler International Mathematical Institute announces a competition for mathematical projects by young researchers

The purpose of the competition is to attract young scientists working in scientific and educational organizations to conduct fundamental research in theoretical mathematics, mathematical and theoretical physics and theoretical computer science, as well as to support the creation and development of new world-class research teams.

Within the framework of the competition, research projects carried out by small scientific groups from 1 to 3 people can be supported, including the leader with a deadline of 6 months and the possibility of extension for an additional 6 months.

Conditions:
To participate in the competition, an email with the subject "Young Researchers Projects Competition" has to be sent to apply@eimi.ru. The letter must be include a competitive application containing general information about the scientific group and a description of the research project on which the group plans to work (completed form of the leader and forms of other participants, if the group consists of more than one participant; it is allowed to create completed forms with answers to same questions in .pdf format using TeX).

Deadline for submission of applications: October 6, 23:59 (Moscow time). Examination of applications is carried out by an expert council, consisting of both the staff of the Moscow International Center for Mathematical Education St. Petersburg International Mathematical Institute named after Leonard Euler and from outside experts. The Council gives significant preference to contestants who work on a permanent basis in scientific or educational organizations outside of St. Petersburg or Moscow, and / or have insufficient funding from other sources.
