Registration for the International Olympiad in Cryptography is open

The is one of the largest international Olympiad, in which thousands of students, schoolchildren and professionals from more than 50 countries have already taken part. The Olympiad is the only international cryptography Olympiad that offers participants both educational tasks and open problems in the field. After each Olympiad, scientific articles are published with an analysis of the solutions proposed by the participants, including those unresolved, requiring a separate scientific study. The winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad are awarded with valuable prizes (laptops, video cameras, tablets, etc.), including all foreign participants.

In 2021, the Olympiad is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Cryptographic Service of the Russian Federation. The first round of the Olympiad will take place on October 17 at 4 pm (UTC+7). The second (independent) tour is in October 18–25.

Since its creation, the Olympiad has always been held via the Internet. The language of the Olympiad is English. To take part in the Olympiad, you need to register on the site. Anyone can do this (there are no geographical and age restrictions), participation in the Olympiad is free.

Registration for the 2021 Olympics is open! Schoolchildren, students, professionals and all crypto enthusiasts are invited to participate.

The organizers of the Olympiad are the Cryptographic Center (Novosibirsk), the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok, ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø, Sobolev Institute of Mathematics SB RAS, University of Leuven (Belgium), Belarusian State University, Tomsk State University, Kovalevskaya North-West Center for Mathematical Research.

The program committee of the Olympiad is represented by well-known specialists in the field of cryptography from such organizations as the National Institute of Standards and Technology (USA), University of Paris 8 (France), INRIA Paris (France), KU LEUVEN (Belgium), University of Bergen (Norway) , Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (India), Naval Postgraduate School (USA), University of Luxembourg (Luxembourg), CryptoExperts (France), Radboud University (Netherlands), University of South Florida (USA), Delft University of Technology (Netherlands) , ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø, Tomsk State University, Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Sobolev Institute of Mathematic, Steklov Mathematical Institute, Matrosov Institute for System Dynamics and Control Theory, Belarusian State University, Nazarbayev University, Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University.
