A school-conference on geometric analysis will be held from July 2 to July 8

and is holding a School-conference on geometric analysis in Novosibirsk from July 2 to July 8, 2023.

The main goal of the conference school is to introduce students, graduate students and young scientists to new directions and new methods in those areas of mathematics that are not presented in traditional courses in analysis and geometry.

The school program includes the following mini-lecture courses:

  • Valery Nikolaevich Berestovsky (IM SB RAS), Abnormal extremals of left-invariant sub-Finsler metrics on four-dimensional Lie groups;
  • Klyachin Vladimir Aleksandrovich (VolSU), Methods of geometric analysis in solving computer vision problems;
  • Egor Dmitrievich Kosov (MSU), Discretization of integral norms by values at points;
  • Lokutsievsky Lev Vyacheslavovich (STIAN), Sub-Finsler geometry and convex trigonometry;
  • Dmitry Mikhailovich Stolyarov (St. Petersburg State University), Application of optimal control ideas in harmonic analysis;
  • Alexander Ivanovich Tyulenev (MIAN), On traces of Sobolev spaces on irregular subsets of metric spaces with measure.

Young school participants will also have the opportunity to present their results.
