Many companies are actively looking to practical applications of blockchain technologies and scientific results in the area. At a meeting on February 27, which was held in the Gazprom Neft Innovation House in St. Petersburg, Polina Sazonova from Novosibirsk was a guest speaker. She presented a report 鈥淒istributed Registry Technologies as the Basis of the Russian Economy鈥�. In the meeting results in the field of blockchain technologies and issues of their implementation were discussed. Among the participants of the event were representatives of the Russian Post, Sberbank of Russia, Sibintek LLC, Nornickel, Innopolis University, and other organizations. At the round table after the talks, prospects for the development of blockchain technology and the existing barriers to its use were discussed.
