The 21st International Conference
“Siberian Scientific School-Seminar «Computer Security and Cryptography»” named after Gennady P. Agibalov was held on
September 5–10. In total, about 50 specialists in cryptography and information security from Moscow, Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Krasnoyarsk, Barnaul, Irkutsk, Saratov, Rostov-on-Don took part in the conference. The delegation from Novosibirsk included 13 students and teachers from ԹϹ, who presented 8 section reports on the properties of cryptographic discrete functions and new methods for analyzing cryptographic algorithms.
1st-year master student of the Department of Mathematics and Mechanics of NSU, young researcher of the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok
Alexander Bakharev became the winner of the youth reports competition. His work
“Development and comparison of quantum oracle models for a hybrid attack on post-quantum cryptosystems based on lattices” is devoted to an extremely relevant modern area — post-quantum cryptography. Alexander shared his impressions:
I would like to express my deep gratitude to the organizers of the conference for the opportunity to gain experience in speaking and useful comments on the work. Of the plenary lectures, I remember most of all the speeches of the Deputy General Director of the CryptoPro company, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences S. V. Smyshlyaev “Ensuring the security of mass cryptographic tools: problems and solutions” and a member of the Academy of Cryptography of the Russian Federation A. V. Cheremushkin “About the PNST project «Terms and Definitions»". Among the section reports, the speeches of colleagues from Rostov-on-Don on homomorphic calculations and cryptosystems were very interesting.
is one of the leading cryptography and computer security conferences in Russia, annually held in different cities of Siberia. Its purpose is to discuss the fundamental mathematical problems of cryptography and information security in computer systems and networks, to exchange scientific results on the development of theoretical foundations and the creation of software and hardware for computer security. This year the conference was held on the basis of Siberian State University of Science and Technology named after Academician M. F. Reshetnev with the support of the International Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok, Tomsk State University, North-Western Center for Mathematical Research named after Sofia Kovalevskaya. The organizers include the Institute of Cryptography, Communications and Informatics of the Academy of the FSB, the Academy of Cryptography of the Russian Federation, Moscow State University.
