The 22nd International Conference SIBECRYPT “Siberian Scientific School-Seminar “Computer Security and Cryptography”” named after G. P. Agibalov was held fr om September 4 to 9 in Barnaul.
The conference brought together about 50 cryptography and information security specialists from Moscow, Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Irkutsk, Taganrog, Rostov-on-Don, Kaliningrad, as well as India and Pakistan.
The delegation from Novosibirsk included 10 teachers and students of ԹϹ, who presented sectional and plenary reports in the field of post-quantum cryptography and cryptographic discrete functions.
— For me, the most valuable result of the conference was the presentation and feedback on the results obtained. It was interesting to participate in the discussion and discuss with colleagues involved in the problems of zero-knowledge proof algorithms the prospects for the development of this field and unsolved problems. SIBECRYPT is a unique opportunity to learn something outside of your immediate field of study, Dmitry Kondyrev, junior researcher at the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok, shared his impressions.
Also within the framework of the conference, a competition of youth reports was held, wh ere the winner was a 2nd year master’s student of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of NSU, engineer of the Mathematical Center in Academic Town Denis Bykov. The topic of the report is “On the attainability of a lower bound for the number of bent functions at a minimum distance from bent functions from the Majorana-McFarland class”.
