Inessa Izotovna Matveeva, a scientist at the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok, head of the research group “Differential Equations and Dynamic Systems,” won the competition in the “Doctor of Science” category.
The conference was held from July 16 to July 20, 2023 in Yakutsk. The conference was attended by 139 scientists from 12 institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 26 universities in Russia and universities in Kazakhstan, China, the USA, and Uzbekistan.
The summer school was organized by the Cryptographic Center of NSU with the support of the ICA and the North-Western Center for Mathematical Research named after. S. Kovalevskaya. 68 students from all over Russia, as well as from other countries - Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Vietnam - take part in it. The school will last until August 17.
During the first module, participants clarified the tasks formulated by customers, obtained intermediate results and outlined plans for further action. The second module of the Workshop will take place from July 19 to 24.
The conference was organized by the Chair of Algebra and Mathematical Logic of NSTU and the Sobolev Institute of Mathematics SB RAS, with the support of the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok. More than fifty specialists in algebra, mathematical logic and related fields, as well as a number of young scientists, post-graduates and students took part in the work of the school-conference.
The event, organized by the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok, was held from July 26 to 30 on the territory of SESC NSU. For five days, participants in seven teams conducted experiments, systematized the results and tried to build the most beautiful theory.
The training of 65 talented schoolchildren interested in computer science and the application of IT technologies in various fields will last until July 16. The school is organized by NSU, IIS SB RAS and MCA.
May 27–28, 2023 in Novosibirsk the Sobolev Institute of Mathematics hosted a conference "Women in Mathematics", which was dedicated to the International Day of Women in Mathematics. The conference was attended by about 70 people, including guests from Germany, Iran, China, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan.
