NSU will hold All-Russian Young Scholars Conference “Actual Challenges of Historical Research: view of young scientists” with the participation of foreign guests
The purpose of the annual conference is to provide a constructive dialogue between different schools of historical thought, to develop new directions in historical research, to approbate the conclusions and to popularize the achievements of young scholars, to integrate the young scholars into the academic community.
Around 100 guests, including researchers and experts from 20 subjects of the Russian Federation, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Israel, confirmed their participation in the conference.
The conference contains the following events:
1. Conference for Young Scholars “Explanatory concepts in historical research”. Leading experts from Israel, Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Barnaul, and Novosibirsk share with young scholars approaches concepts and methods of historical research
2. Panels
3. Round Table Discussion “Tools of Historian: Understanding, Explanation, Interpretation”
The papers of the conference attendees that will be approved by the editorial board could be published in conference proceedings indexed in the RSCI database.

Registration Opens for NSU Summer Linguistic School
The Foreign Languages Division of the Humanities Institute conducts the NSU Linguistic Summer School. The program is a ten-day school for young people grades 8-11 that are interested in foreign languages who want to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the countries and cultures of the languages they study.
