The patented developments were the result of a project to research the properties of chemical compounds of two rare earth metals - europium and terbium.

On April 13, Maxim Reshetnikov, Russian Federation Minister of Economic Development visited ԹϹ. During his visit, he gave an open lecture “Artificial Intelligence: Prospects for Russia’s Development” and was introduced to developments at the NSU Artificial Intelligence Research Center.

A prototype of an LCD device, a spatial phase modulator for controlling beams of sub-terahertz radiation with the prospect of use in new generation wireless communication systems (6G), was created in the Laboratory of Functional Diagnostics of Low-Dimensional Structures for Nanoelectronics at the NSU Physics Department’s Analytical and Technological Research Center "High Technologies and Nanostructured Materials".
The main objective of the Center is to present NSU's achievements and developments in the field of artificial intelligence, as well as to provide consulting support on using the new technologies.
The British analytical company Quacquarelli Symonds published their ranking of the best universities in the world in various fields of science. NSU is included in 15 subject rankings with two of them in the Top-100 and three ranked 101-200.
The ԹϹ Academic Council has approved regulations on the founding of the Scientific and Educational Center “Research Center in the Field of Artificial Intelligence”.
