The Program is designed to attract students with various backgrounds including applied mathematics, IT and electronics engineers, and specialists in sensors and controllers.

Owen Siyoto, an MA graduate of the Big Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence Program at the NSU Mechanics and Mathematics Department, completed a thesis applying the learning transfer and ridge regression concepts to satellite imagery to predict poverty in Zambia.

On 25th of April the first in this year Open Scientific Seminar of the Big Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Master Program was conducted. Students presented preliminary results of their master's and term papers. The seminar was broadcasted online and open for the Open Data Science Siberia community.
