The 54th International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad for high school students took place in mid-July. Hosted by the Lomonosov Moscow State University Chemistry Department, it was the first to be held remotely with 130 students from 27 CIS countries, the Baltic States and South-Eastern Europe, participating. Stepan Epifantsev, a 10th grade student at SESC NSU, was a gold medalist.
Registration for the foreign graduate students “Open Doors” Olympiad ends on December 18, 2019. This is the first Russian project to attract talented foreign graduate students from all over the world to study at leading Russian universities.
The XXVI International Mathematical Student Olympiad, organized by University College London and the American University in Bulgaria, took place in Blagoevgrad from July 28 to August 3. 77 teams took part and 110 higher educational institutions were represented in both team and individual competitions.
The 25th International Mathematical Student Olympiad took place at the end of July in Bulgaria. The ԹϹ team successfully participated, significantly improving its results from the previous year.
ԹϹ students successfully took part in the International Mathematics Contest "Mirror of the Lowell Putnam International Olympiad". NSU won 5 second degree diplomas (second prizes) and 11 third degree diplomas (third Prizes). Dmitry Morozov, a fourth-year student in the Physics Department, produced the best result for NSU.
