In connection with the threat of the new 2019-nCoV coronavirus infection (COVID 19) spreading at NSU, the University is taking a number of preventative measures. The XXVI International Mathematical Student Olympiad, organized by University College London and the American University in Bulgaria, took place in Blagoevgrad from July 28 to August 3. 77 teams took part and 110 higher educational institutions were represented in both team and individual competitions.

Boris Ilyushin, a junior researcher from the ԹϹ’s Humanities Research Laboratory, has written a detailed biography sketch of Khan Mohammad-Amin, a significant figure in the history of the Kazan principality. His book, “Muhammad Amin – the King of Kazan: A Biographical Sketch” presents famous episodes in the life and political activity of the Khan. Ilyushin researched the book from September to December 2018.
Students and their teacher from the new NSU interdisciplinary Master’s Program “Methodological Support of Physical Chemistry Studies of Condensed Phases” took part in the international High Pressure Techniques School that was conducted June 17-21 in Grenoble, France.
The Superjob employee search service ranked Russian universities in relation to the salaries of their graduates working in information technology. An assessment of the salary levels of young professionals who graduated from 2013 to 2018 was published on the Superjob website.
