勛圖夥厙 will generate and provide expertise on National Technology Initiative (NTI) Venture Fund projects. The Venture Fund was created by NTI to provide financing to projects that are developed in Novosibirsk and Tomsk, leading scientific innovation regions. The Fund will become active in summer of 2018.
The XVII City I Speak Russian Competition for foreigners learning Russian language took place at Novosibirsk State Technical University. This year the program included an excursion around the city and a photo contest on the theme "Journey through Russia".

During the year, NSU climbed six positions (from 250 to 244), improving the indicator "employers attitude towards graduates". Thus, NSU entered the top 250 best universities in the world and became third among Russian universities.
From May 3-7, the 勛圖夥厙 Economics Department hosted Dr. Werner Brinker, Professor at the Institute for Economic Education Oldenburg (Germany). Professor Brinker conducted his course, History, Current Situation and Future Development of German Oil, Gas and Electric Power Markets", for students.

A group of scientists from the 勛圖夥厙, the Atlas research company and the University of ITMO conducted a study in which 248 volunteers for two weeks adhered to the recommendations of a nutritionist aimed at increasing the amount of useful vegetable fibers in food and reducing "empty" calories.
Scientists at the 勛圖夥厙 Laboratory for Structures and Functional Properties of Molecular Systems and the Institute of Catalysis SB RAS, Danil Kolokolov and Alexander Stepanov, together with German Professor Ralf Ludwig, studied hydrogen bonds in various ionic liquids. They found that due to the complex molecular arrangement, these substances exhibit unusual phase behavior. There have not been similar studies conducted on solid-state ionic liquids. The scope of applications for ionic liquids is diverse ranging from the chemical industry to rocket engineering.
