Thesis topic: "Asymptotic analysis of the distribution of the sojourn time of a random walk in the region of moderately large deviations." The work was written under the scientific supervision of Igor S. Borisov, doctor of physics and mathematics.
Candidate of physics and mathematics, associate professor Inessa Izotovna Matveeva — participant of the research project "Differential Equations and Dynamical Systems" of the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok.
Aleksandr S. Okhotin's lectures were held on June 16–17. The lectures provided a detailed overview of the main findings on input-driven pushdown automata (IDPDA). The lectures were organized by MCA staff members Viktor Selivanov and Nikolay Bazhenov.
Doctor of physics and mathematics, professor Alexander I. Kozhanov is a participant in the research project "Differential Equations and Dynamical Systems" of the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok.
The course was authored by Pavel Kolesnikov, Professor of the Chair of Algebra and Mathematical Logic of Mathematics and Mechanics Department NSU, and Timur Nasybullov, Researcher of the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok.
On April 21–22, in Anapa the III Russian Scientific and Technical Conference "State and Prospects for the Development of Modern Science in the Field of Information Security" was held. On behalf of the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok, Alexander Kutsenko, Natalia Atutova and Daria Zyubina took part in the conference.
The Workshop is an event consisting of two "intensive weeks" (12–17 July and 16–21 August), separated by a four-week intermodule. While working on one of 42 projects, schoolchildren, students and young researchers will have to communicate with customers, determine the way to solve the proposed problem and translate their plans into reality.
On May 12, 2021, the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok held a conference "Women in Mathematics", timed to coincide with the International Day of Women in Mathematics. At the conference, scientific talks were made by researchers of the Mathematical Center and laboratories of the Sobolev Institute of Mathematics SB RAS in various areas of mathematics.
