The Non-Stop University CRYPTO Olympiad (NSUCRYPTO) is the only international competition in cryptography. The MCA is one of its organizers. In 2022, the competition brought together more than 600 participants from 33 countries.
On December 16–18, with the support of the MCA, a Mathematical Immersion was held for junior students of the Department of Mathematics and Mechanics of NSU. For three days, the students, divided into three teams, tried to advance in the study of four open mathematical problems.
On December 1–3, 2022, the Second Congress of Young Scientists was held in the Sirius Park of Science and Art in Russia. From the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok, a small delegation of young researchers, postgraduates and students took part in the Congress — in addition to participating in panel discussions and communicating with young scientists, technology entrepreneurs and representatives of leading scientific and educational centers in Russia, two representatives of the MCA made presentations at the Congress.
For the third decade now, the Maltsev Meeting conference continues to be an important meeting place for leading algebraists and logicians from different countries, as well as for those who are just taking their first steps in science.
The prize was awarded to Aleksey I. Furtsev, a participant in the research project "Differential Equations and Dynamic Systems" of the MCA, for the series of works "Analysis of mathematical models of inhomogeneous elastic structures". The MCA team congratulates Aleksey!
Alexey P. Zhabko is a Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Control Theory of St. Petersburg State University, Honored Worker of the Higher School of the Russian Federation. Lectures were organized by the participants of the research project "Differential Equations and Dynamical Systems".
On October 23–29, 2022, the International Conference on Geometric Analysis, dedicated to the memory of Academician Yu. G. Reshetnyak was hosted in Novosibirsk. The event was organized by the MCA and the Sobolev Institute of Mathematics SB RAS.
From 6 to 8 October in Tashkent, with the support of the MCA, the International Scientific Conference "Non-classical equations of mathematical physics and their applications" was held. During the conference topical problems of mathematical physics, analysis and theory of partial differential equations were discussed.
