According to the information from Mr. Jean-Maurice RIPERT, the French ambassador to Russia, Russia and France are about to sign an agreement on recognizing each other’s diplomas and degrees. During his meeting with the NSU administration, Mr. Jean-Maurice Ripert pointed out that such an agreement would take effect as early as the beginning of 2015 and would encourage mobility in both directions.
The participants discussed possible directions for cooperation in education and science including that of creating joint mirror laboratories. “We plan to launch a contest for creating mirror laboratories in biology and medicine and would be glad to encourage French scientists to take part in it. We find cooperation with France in the field of biomedical technologies promising, and of course we are interested in developing humanities and social sciences,” said NSU Rector Mikhail Fedoruk.
Concluding the meeting, the French ambassador suggested that there should be designed an articulate program to promote cooperation and interaction between French universities and NSU.
