In the “Korean language” section NSU students won 2 top places: Anna Grudinina (a 2nd year student of the Humanities Department) took the 2nd place among beginners and Oksana Aradjioni (a 3rd year student in the Humanities Department) the 3rd place in the senior group. Anton Kholodov and Artemy Pirozhkov were also awarded special prizes by the jury.
In the “Japanese language” section Viktoria Lukyanchikova (a 4th year student in the Humanities Department) won the 2nd place in the senior group of performers.
Victory in the “Chinese language” section in the senior group was claimed by Maxim Chimiris (a 5th year student in the Humanities Department). He was also awarded with a special prize by the competition sponsor and organizer, the NSTU Confucius Institute. Another student, Ludmila Chervinskaya, was awarded the jury’s special prize.
After the competition, the NSU professors from the Oriental languages unit Chair who had prepared the students, participated in a workshop on new educational technologies in oriental languages teaching.
