A number of information stands about NSU life have been set up in front of the main university building. They appeared as a part of the upcoming celebration of the NSU鈥檚 55 anniversary.
Ten banners welcome visitors and passers-by informing them about the university history, graduates, Rectors and university prospects as well as about NSU鈥檚 scientific and social life.
鈥楢s far back as celebrating the 50th anniversary, we were thinking how to present NSU outside rather than inside, so that a visitor could get a visual presentation of what NSU is about,鈥� says Lidia Vorobtsova, the Director of the NSU Museum. 鈥楾he project began to take shape about two years ago and now the idea has been materialized by the organizing committee preparing for the 55 anniversary, which is to be celebrated on 26-28 September, 2014. I believe it is still possible to extend the exposition, though the information presented is complete enough.鈥�
