Times Higher Education (UK): NSU Finalist in Video Contest

A short video clip about ԹϹ, which was created by the team of NSU LIFE project, has entered top-5 of the “Why I Love My University …” video competition run by Times Higher Education.

“Our university has entered such a competition for the first time, and it is a great honor to become a finalist of this highly sought after international contest,” says Svetlana Donetskaya, a specialist on university rankings and an associate professor at the Economics Department. “I believe we are with a shot of winning as the winner is partially selected according to its online popularity. The number of views, likes and shares of the clip by our students, graduates, instructors, professors and all those who love NSU can bring us a victory.”

The Times Higher Education competition aims at promoting the universities which strive to enter top-100 in the international rankings. The finalists include two Russian universities – NSU and Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, the University of British Columbia (Canada), Simon Fraser University (Canada) and Flinders University (Australia).

The results of the competition are to appear early in October and will depend on the number of clip views and likes of the registered visitors (only).
