Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok held one of the largest Russian conferences on geometry of dynamic systems, which in 2020 was dedicated to the anniversary of academician Valery Vasilyevich Kozlov.
During six days (from February 24 to 29) more than 90 specialists from different parts of the world will share insights on problems in dynamical systems theory, geometry and related fields. This year鈥檚 conference is dedicated to 70th birthday of a distinguished Russian mathematician Valery Vasil鈥檈vich Kozlov.
During the round table, representatives of NSU and the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok discussed possibilities of using a network form of training in the implementation of joint educational programs, as well as the possibility of developing MOOC in mathematics.
The event took place from February 3 to 8 on the grounds of NSU and brought together more than 30 undergraduate and postgraduate students, PhD students, faculty and research fellows from NSU and IM SB RAS.
On January 9, Specialized Educational Scientific Center of NSU opened two winter schools for high school students from Russia and Kazakstan. Winter physics school 鈥楢rchimedes鈥� is held at the SESC annually since 2015 and the Lobachevsky school in mathematics is held for the first time.
From October 13 to 21, the 6th annual International Cryptography Olympiad NSUCRYPTO-2019 (Non Stop University Crypto) was held in Akademgorodok. Participants from 16 countries were awarded prizes and diplomas including winners and finalists from Akademgorodok and Novosibirsk.
