International conference SIBECRYPT-2021 "Cryptography and Computer Security" was held at NSU

SIBECRYPT is one of the top conferences on cryptography and computer security in Russia, annually held in different cities of Siberia. Its goal is to discuss fundamental mathematical problems of cryptography and information protection in computer systems and networks, exchange scientific results on the development of theoretical foundations and the creation of software and hardware for computer security.

The Probability summer school, organized by the MCA, has been successfully finished

A summer school on probability theory was held from 17 to 29 August. Students and young researchers from different cities of Russia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan attended a course on stochastic differential equations read by professor Alexander Yuryevich Veretennikov of the Higher School of Economics and professor Daria Lukyanova of the University of Evry (France), and an introductory course on the theory of large deviations by Artyom Vasilyevich Logachev, a research fellow of the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok.

The Climate Center opened at NSU

The Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok joined the development of climate projects. At the opening, the "carbolator" was presented — a carbon footprint calculator that allows you to calculate the annual CO2 emissions depending on the lifestyle.
